Grape Variety  100% Chasselas

Soil  Grown on a mixture of gravel, marl and clay found in Lutry and Villette.

Vinification  Traditional, pressing of the grapes, racking, alcoholic then malolactic complete fermentation, natural cold clarification.

Tasting notes  Aromas of white orchid flowers and pear. A rich and creamy mouth- feel with fruity citrus flavours. A subtle fresh spritziness. An elegant refined wine.   

Food & mood match  A romantic dinner for 2 over a succulent seafood platter (especially scallops and lobster). Preferably room service in a luxurious Relais du Château. Indulge and enjoy!

When to drink and how to store  This wine just gets better and better especially by year 2 and 3. It should be drunk within 5 years depending on the vintage.  Store in a cool dry place away from light and vibration.

A few words from the winemaker  This wine is for ladies…. and heart patients since 1968 (the 1st heart transplant took place in the Cape of South Africa).
