Grape Variety  Riesling-Sylvaner (Müller-Thurgau). The vines are approximately 30 years old. The older the vine is the better quality the wine is.

Soil  Clay

Vinification  A certain amount of residual sugar (grape sugar that remains unconverted in the wine after and during fermentation) is present which gives the subtle sweetness to this wine.

Tasting notes  A highly aromatic wine with pear (even Poire Williamin) guava, lychee, apple and touches of nutmeg and cinnamon can be found. A ripe fruitiness envelops the entire palate with a slight sweetness to it.

Food and mood match  Salty type cheeses such as Roquefort, Stilton and Gorgonzola are an ideal match. Also various finger foods (amuse bouche). An apero/party 70s type atmosphere with excellent music and ambiance would be highly recommended. And if your still there for desert sweet dishes work well with it to.

When to drink and how to store  Best to drink in its youth within the first year or two.
